Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC – Terrorist Watch List) – OFAC maintains the Terrorist Watch List, which identifies individuals who are known terrorists, terrorist supporters, international narcotics traffickers, or involved in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
The System for Award Management (SAM) – SAM not only reports excluded parties, but also reports government awarded contracts and an organization size and ownership list (ORCA).
The Office of Inspector General (OIG) – OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE) supplies information regarding individuals and entities who are presently excluded from involvement in Medicare, Medicaid and all other Federal health care programs. Consequently, this information helps providers who bill Federal health care programs avoid submitting claims for individuals on the LEIE. The LEIE updates monthly to provide the most accurate results. For a list of all exclusion reasons, please visit the OIG and HHS website.
Excluded Parties List System (EPLS) – The U.S. federal government excludes individuals and entities on the EPLS from receiving contracts, approved subcontracts, or certain types of federal financial and non-financial assistance and benefits.
FACIS III – Searches thousands of federal and state sources, including the Office of Inspector General (OIG), General Services Administration (GSA/SAM), state Medicaid exclusion lists, and other regulatory agencies. Designed to meet healthcare compliance requirements for hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, staffing agencies, and educational programs placing students in clinical settings.
