You can easily get lost trying to navigate the numerous background and drug screening solutions. Below is a sample of our most common. We will work with you to develop a screening program that meets your unique needs.

Identity Checks

Social Security Name & Address Trace – Based off the SSN, this search accesses a variety of databases to which companies voluntarily report the individual’s address. Companies that provide this information may include creditors, utility companies, magazines, etc. Younger individuals may not have reportable previous address history due to their age and/or lack of credit. In addition to tracing a subject’s address history, this search can detect fraudulent numbers and flag numbers that have not been issued by the Social Security Administration.

SSN Death Index – A database of people whose deaths were reported to the Social Security Administration (SSA) beginning about 1962.

Criminal Searches

National Criminal Database Search – Locates potential criminal records with its nationwide scope. This search is an excellent pointer tool to find potential criminal records across the nation. A National Criminal Database Search draws from over 525 million records from thousands of jurisdictions. Coverage varies by state and records reported should be confirmed with an up-to-date county criminal record search. Since not all counties/states report into the database, we highly recommend this search be accompanied by a county or statewide search based on the subjects residency history.  Monthly monitoring available!

County Criminal Record Search – CoreScreening’s nationwide network of thousands of court researchers work diligently to obtain the most up-to-date available criminal records from the county courts. Since some counties offer automated results and others require a researcher to walk-in to the court house, turn around time for results varies by county.

National Sexual Offender Registry – Individuals who are listed in this registry have typically been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor sexual offense against adults or children and must register within the state in which they reside. This registry is automatically searched as part of the National Criminal Database Search.

Federal Criminal Search (PACER) – Prosecutions in federal court will not appear on a county, statewide or national search. Common violations include drug trafficking, tax evasion, embezzlement, bank robbery, kidnapping, mail fraud, and other federal statute violations.

Fingerprinting - State and Federal level live scan and rolled fingerprinting varies by state, please contact us for more details.

Statewide Criminal Search – The Statewide Criminal Records Search accesses an individual state’s repository information. All states vary dramatically on cost, county reporting and turnaround times. Please contact a CoreScreening specialist to determine if the Statewide Criminal search would be a good option for your location(s).

Nationwide Wants & Warrants – A nationwide database for active, extraditable federal and state warrants. Since warrants are issued by thousands of agencies across the country, the information returned runs a risk of being outdated

Motor Vehicle Records

Commercial Driver License Information System (CDLIS) – Ensure only qualified drivers are eligible to receive and retain a CDL. CDLIS plays a critical role in this effort by providing the information technology platform which all States and the District of Columbia use to transmit conviction, disqualification, and other driver history record information for CDL holders.

Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) – The CoreScreening MVR search includes driving history information, such as DUIs, revoked license, accidents, speeding, and other minor traffic violations.

Healthcare

We offer CoreMed Levels 1, 2, and 3 with and without ongoing monitoring. Please contact us to develop a screening solution that meets your specific criteria.

COREMed Level 3 – Typically mandatory for screening healthcare professionals, this solution searches federal and state sanctions level sources along with highly targeted state licensing and board disciplinary actions data for all 50 states… 1,700+ sources in all.

COREMed Level 3 with Alias – COREMed Alias is the same as above but adds best-in-class solutions to identify alias name records in a single search that may require multiple searches or be missed altogether. COREMed Level 2 – This solution is a common requirement for colleges and universities for student screening. Our Level 2 includes everything within the Level 3 solution with the exception of state board licensing, disciplinary actions and state abuse registries.

Physicals – CoreScreening takes the guesswork out of managing the process with CoreScreening’s network of appropriately credentialed personnel at easy to access locations across the nation.
