The state of New York will increase its access fees for the New York statewide criminal search from $68 to $98 effective April 13th, 2019. Governor Cuomo of New York signed the New York State budget into law today, Friday April 12th, 2019.
The budget includes a $30 increase to Office of Court Administration (OCA) searches from $68 to $98. The stated purpose of this increase is to fund indigent defense and various other programs in the state of New York.
